Fans will be thrilled by two great events on one day to kick off the first Labor Day weekend of racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway - NASCAR Sprint Cup Qualifying under the lights and the Degree V12 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series. NASCAR's top stars will first take the track to compete for starting position in Sunday's Labor Day weekend NASCAR Sprint Cup race. Following NASCAR Sprint Cup Qualifying under the lights, the speed and stars of the NASCAR Nationwide Series will take to the high banks of Atlanta Motor Speedway to compete under the lights to battle for the checkered flag in the Labor Day weekend Degree V12 300.
Gates 13 and 15 open at 11 a.m. and Gates 4 and 12 open at 4:30 p.m. The Degree V12 300 begins at 7 p.m.

As a special offer for NASCAR-loving families, Atlanta Motor Speedway is admitting children ages 12 and under free of charge for Saturday's Degree V12 300 Nationwide Race and NASCAR Sprint Cup Qualifying. Children must be accompanied by a parent with a regularly-priced Earnhardt Grandstand adult ticket and multiple children can accompany one adult ticket. Select sections in the Earnhardt Grandstand are designated as smoke/alcohol free to accommodate families.

The ride departs at 1:30 p.m. on September 5, 2009 from Clayton County Harley Davidson and registration begins at 11 a.m. Tickets are $35 for single riders and $55 for two riders. $15 of each ticket purchase will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Tickets may be purchased at Clayton County Harley Davidson, any Hooter's restaurant in Georgia or at Full Throttle Magazine. Tickets can also be purchased online by entering "atlanta" as the password.
