Ever since Denny Hamlin took the checkered flag to win last year's AdvoCare 500, we have been looking forward to this weekend, as NASCAR night racing makes its return to Atlanta Motor Speedway, and we hope you'll be here part of it.

As SMI Chairman Bruton Smith says,  "you've got a state fair here and a race broke out." And he's right! Labor Day Weekend is indeed more than just a race.

Here are ten things to make sure and do while you're with us this weekend!

Whether you grill it, pick it up on the way to the track or get it at a concession stand, few things arouse the senses more than the smell of good food. Don't forget that you can keep the party going inside the track, coolers 14x14x14, or smaller are permitted into the grandstands as long as they contain no glass objects.

Driver appearances

Fans have an opportunity to get a close glimpse at some of their favorite drivers throughout the weekend during Q&A and autograph appearances at various locations at Atlanta Motor Speedway!

Check www.atlantamotorspeedway.com/weekendschedule or our social media postings for driver appearance updates.

Cheering on your favorites

Everyone likely has a favorite driver. Be sure to show your support all weekend long by cheering loud and proud for your driver! And if you're looking for the latest driver attire, check out souvenir midway behind the Champions grandstand.

Coca-Cola Fan Stage

Located in the Fan Zone, come by the Coca-Cola fan stage for Q&A with NASCAR drivers and personalities, live music, games and more! You can find the schedule of all weekend activity at www.atlantamotorspeedway.com/weekendschedule.

Coke food items

Head over to the Taste of Georgia Concession Stand located near Section 129 of the Earnhardt Grandstand for food inspired by Coca-Cola products!

Pulled Pork Sandwich -  Pork braised in Cherry Coca-Cola served on a soft onion roll, smothered in BBQ sauce made with Coca-Cola and topped with a zucchini pickle and TABASCO fried onions.

You'll be ready to party when country music superstar Billy Currington takes the stage for the pre-race concert! $49 upgrades any AdvoCare 500 ticket stagefront access for both the concert and NASCAR Sprint Cup Series driver introductions!

Pre-race pit passes

This is as close to a pre-game sideline pass as you can get anywhere! Roam up and down pit road before racing gets underway and get a glimpse of teams as they roll cars out onto pit road and prepare for the race! Pre-race pit passes are good until an hour prior to the race. Look for the pit pass trailer in the Fan Zone or go to the ticket office to purchase them during race weekend. Additional pre-race pit pass info may be found here.
