Copy machines provided by IKON Office Solutions will be located in the deadline room during race weekend for media members needing to make copies. Copies will be free of charge.
Fax machines provided by IKON Office Solutions will be located behind the counter in the deadline room for media members who would like to make a local or calling-card fax.
The information racks located next to the counter in the deadline room will contain all track, series and team releases and media guides. Updated news, quotes and statistics will be distributed each day, and extra copies can be found in the racks.
Journalists may request private lockers at the check-in counter. Lockers for journalists are located in the hallway next to the restrooms in the media center. Atlanta Motor Speedway assumes no responsibility for the contents of the lockers during the event.
Atlanta Motor Speedway event guides, NASCAR Sprint Cup media guides, NASCAR Nationwide Series media guides, NASCAR Camping World Truck series media guides and NASCAR Sprint Cup update books can be obtained from Atlanta Motor Speedway staff behind the counter of the deadline room.
Because of the volume of media credential requests we receive for each race, not all credentialed media can be accommodated in the main media center area. For those given media overflow access, the media overflow room is located behind the souvenir and concession stand to the west of the media center (next to NASCAR sign-in). Operating hours are the same as the media center. Media overflow stickers are also allowed access into the main lobby area of the media center, so that media may attend all press conferences and obtain the press releases and media kits located in that area.
Media members are encouraged to attend all press conferences in the press conference room of the media center, located on the backstretch side of the media center. All cell phones and pagers are to be turned off during press conferences.
No one is allowed on the roof of the media center at any time during race weekend. If you need to access the roof to hook up phone lines for a radio remote, you must do this before race weekend. This policy will be strictly enforced.
There are telephones available for any media member needing one. To dial out, press "9". A calling card must be used to dial long distance.
Televisions will provide a live feed from the track, live timing and scoring and announcements for the media. Televisions are to remain on assigned channels at all times.
