The 2014 NASCAR season is off and rolling, and NASCAR's most popular driver leads the AMS Power Rankings as teams get ready to trek to Phoenix!

The rankings are determined by the top drivers in the NASCAR driver ratings in addition to five bonus points awarded for a race victory, three for a top-five finish and two for a top 10.

1. Dale Earnhardt Jr.

(Last week: 1st)

As far as fast start's to the season go, it's hard to top the past two races for Dale Jr., who has finishes of first and second in the season's first two races.

2. Kevin Harvick

(Last week: Unranked)

Harvick storms to the No. 2 spot in the power rankings with a dominant win at Phoenix. It hasn't taken long for his move to Stewart-Haas Racing to pay dividends.

3. Brad Keselowski

(Last week: 2nd)

Keselowski continues to rally back from 2013, contending for the win for the second straight week.

4. Joey Logano

(Last week: 6th)

The No. 22 team backed up a front-row qualifying effort with a solid run within the top five throughout the Phoenix race.

5. Jimmie Johnson

(Last week: 5th)

Even though a pit strategy by Chad Knaus didn't come to fruition, Johnson still parylayed it into a sixth-place finish. With two finishes of sixth or better so far in 2014, the No. 48 is already making a habit of being in position to win.

6. Jeff Gordon

(Last week: 4th)

Gordon is one of three Sprint Cup drivers with top-five finishes in the season's first two races.

7. Denny Hamlin

(Last week: 3rd)

After a dominant stretch at Daytona, Hamlin faded to finish 19th at Phoenix. His team is in need of a strong rebound this weekend at Las Vegas.

8. Kyle Busch

(Last week: 8th)

Busch's finish of ninth was the highest among all Joe Gibbs Racing entries at Phoenix.

9. Matt Kenseth

(Last week: 7th)

Kenseth continues to put forth solid efforts. He has been on the lead lap in 99.02 percent of all laps so far this season in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, ranking him first among all drivers.

10. Carl Edwards

(Last week: Unranked)

Optimism should be high for Edwards going into this weekend. Las Vegas is one of a slew of tracks that he has two Sprint Cup victories at.
