Atlanta summers heat up each Thursday this summer with Thursday Thunder, Atlanta Motor Speedway¿s 10-week Legends, Bandolero and Thunder Roadster racing series. One of the most affordable family activities in Atlanta, Thursday Thunder is a bonanza of games, contests, giveaways and exciting racing. Tickets are just $5 for adults and $1 for children 6-12 (children under 6 are free) for each evening of fun and grass-roots racing. Each night is highlighted by races in nine different classes, with the state¿s rising stars battling around the paved quarter-mile Atlanta Motor Speedway frontstretch oval. But the racing is only part of the fun and excitement at Atlanta Motor Speedway. On the concourse, there will be weekly themes and contests, exciting intermission activities and merchandise and ticket giveaways.
