Atlanta Motor Speedway officials announced today that Kelley Horton has been promoted to the position of ticket manager. Horton, 31, has served as interim ticket manager since longtime ticket manager Frances Goss retired in August after 38 years with the speedway. ¿With tickets, you never know what you¿re going to be faced with, but I look at it like an adventure,¿ Horton said. ¿I really look forward to what¿s to come.¿ Working in the ticket office at Atlanta Motor Speedway is nothing new for Horton, who has been with AMS for 12 years. In fact, working in the ticket office has been Horton¿s first ¿ and only ¿ full-time job. ¿It¿s challenging to take care of 150,000 people,¿ Horton said. ¿Thankfully, I already have a relationship with many of our longtime ticket buyers, and I look forward to getting to know the rest. I want to make sure that Atlanta Motor Speedway is known as the speedway that services its customers better than any track in NASCAR.¿ Horton resides in Griffin with her husband Bert and sons Tyler and Austin.
