The Mid-State RV Center Family Campground presented by Coachmen and Sports Coach will be located north of the front entrance of the speedway, adjacent to Hwy 19/41 and next to the spacious new bathroom/shower facility.
There will be separate camping areas for both RV and tent/pop-up camping, and spaces will being pre-selling immediately for the Oct. 29-31 Bass Pro Shops MBNA 500.
There are 380 RV spaces, which will sell for $125 per race, and 180 tent pop-up spaces, which will be $100 per race.
Campers in the family-designated area will be surrounded by sturdy fencing and will be able to depend on round-the-clock security. The new Mid-State RV Family Campground will also have strictly enforced quiet time from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m.
¿We¿ve had a lot of requests from our fans in recent years for a quieter, more family-oriented area in our campgrounds,¿ said Atlanta Motor Speedway President and General Manager Ed Clark. ¿This will be a haven for fans who come as a family, or who just prefer a quieter setting while camping.¿
The family campground is sponsored by Mid-State RV Center in Byron, Ga., a longtime sponsor of AMS and supporter of Speedway Children¿s Charities. Mid-State RV Center is one of the top sellers of all ranges of RVs, from luxurious Coachmen motorhomes to economical travel trailers and pop-ups.
