What: Due to Friday's Georgia-Pacific Power Qualifying Night (7:10 p.m. start) the south side of Atlanta will experience heavier than normal traffic flow during the evening rush hour. A record crowd in excess of 50,000 is expected for this Friday night event, so we implore your help in getting the word out about alternates/traffic patterns.

Who: Please help us advise local commuters and race traffic as to the best routes. When: Evening rush hour on Friday, October 28, 4-7 p.m. Where: All racetrack-bound roads, especially Hwys. 19/41 South and the newly realigned GA Hwy. 20 (Bruton Smith Parkway)

How: Please help us remind all commuters via traffic reports throughout the week October 25 - 28 of the impending race traffic and advise them to take alternate routes:

· State officials are urging regular COMMUTERS to use alternate routes to Hwys. 19/41 and Hwy. 20, as it will likely be full of race traffic during the evening rush hour.

· State officials are urging RACE TRAFFIC to use Hwys. 19/41 South and GA Hwy. 20.
