Fans wanting to secure a reserved RV parking space for the Golden Corral 500 race weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway need to act fast. There are less than 200 reserved spaces remaining in the four lots that comprise the more than 3,416 camping spaces at AMS.

"Camping is an integral part of racing and we have seen a significant increase in the demand for camping spaces," said Atlanta Motor Speedway president Ed Clark. "With less than 200 reserved RV spaces remaining, I strongly encourage fans to go ahead and purchase their package now to ensure a spot for the Golden Corral 500 race weekend."

RV spaces on the infield at AMS are sold out. Once the 200 spaces that remain in East Turn, Ragu, Legends and Mid-State reserved areas are sold, fans will still have the opportunity to camp in the 49 acres of unreserved campgrounds.

On Friday, March 17, the NEXTEL Cup Series will hit the pavement for the fastest qualifying session of the year during Georgia Power Qualifying night. Immediately following qualifying, the toughest trucks on the planet will take on the high banks of Atlanta Motor Speedway in the John Deere 200.

March 18 is another day full of exciting, door-to-door racing. On Saturday, the NASCAR Busch Series will compete for 300 miles in the Nicorette 300, showcasing the sport's rising stars and a number of NEXTEL Cup regulars.

The weekend will culminate as the biggest names in racing battle on Sunday, March 19 for 500 miles in the Golden Corral 500 NEXTEL Cup race. Like the truck races at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the NEXTEL Cup series has a history of incredible finishes. In last year's Golden Corral 500, Carl Edwards held off a hard-charging Jimmie Johnson to claim his first Cup series victory by a mere .028 seconds.
