If the exhilaration of NEXTEL Cup racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway isn't enough action for one weekend, fans can purchase the naming rights to a lap in the Bass Pro Shops 500 and receive weekend tickets and pit passes.
In one of the most limited ticket specials offered by Atlanta Motor Speedway, 325 lucky fans have a chance to call a lap their own in the October 29 Bass Pro Shops 500.
With Atlanta Motor Speedway's lap sponsorship package, fans select a lap to sponsor in the October NEXTEL Cup race. Their name and lap number will be published in the race program if purchased before the printing deadline of Thursday, Sept. 28.
In addition, lap sponsors will receive a commemorative certificate of their lap, as well as two tickets to October 27 Georgia-Pacific Qualifying followed by the Papa John's Shootout ASA Southern Modified race. Purchasers of the lap sponsorship package will also receive two tickets to the EasyCare Vehicle Service Contracts 200 NASCAR Craftsman Truck race and the Crown Royal International Race of Champions season finale.
Finally, lap sponsors receive two coveted pre-race pit passes, allowing race fans ages 14 and over access to the sights and sounds of race morning. The pits are open Friday through Sunday and close 45 minutes before race time.
