Expected to draw more than 20,000 RV and camping enthusiasts, the show will feature hundreds of motor homes, travel trailers, fifth-wheels, pop-up and van campers and toy haulers from 17 different RV dealerships.
In addition to the camping and RV related merchandise, a live band, carnival concessions and a rock climbing adventure will be available. The Richard Petty Driving Experience will also be present, offering the opportunity to ride in or drive a NASCAR NEXTEL Cup-style stock car.
A five-seat NASCAR race simulator will be present and offer the chance to race in a tournament, with the fastest drivers being awarded tickets to the October 26-28 NASCAR NEXTEL Cup race at Atlanta Motor Speedway.
The hit move "RV" featuring Robin Williams will be played on a large outdoor movie screen situated on the frontstretch of AMS on Saturday at 8 p.m. and a 10 a.m. Sunday worship service will be offered.
Show hours are Friday, April 13 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday, April 14 from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Sunday, April 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Adult single-day admission is $10, kids 8-18 are $5 and children under 8-years-old are free. A family fun day pass is available for $20 and allows admission for two adults and three children. Adult weekend passes are also available for $15 while a kid's pass is only $8.
