Atlanta Motor Speedway is offering fans the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take three high-speed laps around AMS in the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet, piloted by four-time NASCAR champion Jeff Gordon.
Eight regional media outlets will hold contests with six winners getting the chance to ride shotgun with Gordon in a No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet race car from the Jeff Gordon Racing School on February 19. The school features race cars that have been purchased from the sport's top teams and are the same cars that have been raced in competition by some of NASCAR's biggest stars.
"Atlanta is an intense track and one of the fastest tracks we race on," said Gordon, driver of the No. 24 DuPont Chevrolet. "It has a lot of grip so you really feel the speed.
"This should be a very memorable experience for the winners of the promotion."
Atlanta, Chattanooga, Tenn. and Macon, Ga. based media outlets will all hold individual contests to select winners. Entry information can be obtained from the websites below.

In addition to the grand prize ride-along, 60 participants will have the opportunity to win daily prizes that consist of tickets and pre-race pit passes to Friday night, March 7 Georgia Power Sprint Cup Qualifying and the American Commercial Lines 200 Craftsman Truck Series event as well as the Saturday afternoon Nicorette 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race and the Kobalt Tools 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup event.
"This is one of the biggest promotions Atlanta Motor Speedway has ever participated in," said AMS president and general manager Ed Clark. "Six lucky winners will have memories from taking three hot laps with Jeff Gordon that will last a lifetime."
Jeff Gordon Racing School is headquartered at Lowe's Motor Speedway in Concord, NC.
