The penultimate round of Atlanta Motor Speedway's Winter Flurry Racing Series allowed drivers to wind their way around the high-speed one-mile infield road course for the final time this season.

The action will move to the Thunder Ring, AMS' frontstretch quarter-mile oval for the final race of the season, immediately following the Nicorette 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race on March 8.

The Bandolero Bandits took the green flag for the first feature race of the day under bright blue skies. Kyle Plott started on the pole with Evan Bell and Kyle Benjamin in-tow. Bell charged to a commanding lead before spinning exiting the sweeping right turn on lap two, sending him to sixth place and handing the lead to Benjamin. Plott raced his way to the lead on lap four after a series of impressive maneuvers and never looked back, snaring the checkered flag.

The Young Guns and Outlaws were combined for the next feature race with Dustyn Cunningham on the pole flanked by Chase Elliott. Calamity ensued entering the first turn chicane, sending Elliott spinning and kicking him back to eighth-place. Cunningham and Jake Armstrong jumped to a sizeable lead mid-way through the first lap. Elliott made a valiant effort to work his way back to the front of the field, but wasn't able catch eventual winner Cunningham. Results will be official pending an inspection by 600 Racing on two competitor's engines.

Atlanta Motor Speedway president and general manager Ed Clark and local racer Bubba Harry participated in an eight lap shoot-out in the Thunder Roadster division. Clark started on the pole and led lap one before Harry took the lead. The duo swapped the lead several times with Harry eventually earning the victory.

Sparks flew shortly after the green flag was unfurled as a pile-up collected five cars before they were able to complete the first lap of the Legends feature race. Trey Poole led the field to the green flag for the restart with Jeff Haynie following in his tire tracks. Poole was not challenged for the lead the remainder of the event.

The Winter Flurry Series will take the green flag for the final time this season on March 8, immediately following the Nicorette 300 Nationwide Series event.
