The Sixth Annual Landmark Mopar Southern Classic, an automotive extravaganza devoted solely to Dodge, Plymouth and Chrysler vehicles will roll into Atlanta Motor Speedway on May 2 and 3. Hundreds of Mopars will be on display during the two-day event.
The Sixth Annual Landmark Mopar Southern Classic will take place on May 2 from noon to 5p.m. and May 3 from 8 a.m. to 5p.m. Admission for adults is just $7 with children under 12-years-old admitted free. Accompanying the Mopar Southern Classic, the Eastman Gun Show will occupy the Sprint Cup garage area on May 3 and 4.
The southeast's leader in Gun Shows brings their award winning show to the NASCAR Sprint Cup garage for the weekend. Hundreds of vendors featuring collectible, military and current guns and knives. Also on tap for Friday night, May 2 is drag racing and a car show on the AMS infield.
Grudge racing is encouraged on the drag strip where racers compete in heads up racing action. Any car or truck is eligible for competition. Drivers must be 16 years of age to compete (with completed parental consent form) and must wear a helmet. Take the racing off of the streets and into a safe environment at the speedway.
