Pre-Race Pit Passes for October's Pep Boys Auto 500 On Sale Now

In baseball, you can't purchase dugout tickets. Fans can't walk across the turf at the Georgia Dome pre-game. And you can't slide across the ice before a hockey match.

But racing is special, because fans can get more access to restricted areas than in any other sport. By purchasing a pre-race pit pass for the Pep Boys Auto 500 on Oct. 26, fans have the opportunity to stroll the same pit area used by NASCAR teams during the Pep Boys Auto 500, the Atlanta 200 Craftsman Truck Series race and Hot Shot Qualifying Night.

For exclusive pit-area access, Atlanta Motor Speedway pit passes start at only $75 for Friday's Hot Shot Qualifying Night and access for all three days is just $125. Three three-day pass allows fans to get as close as possible for Sprint Cup qualifying on Friday, Oct. 24, the Atlanta 200 truck race on Saturday, Oct. 25, and the Pep Boys Auto 500 on Sunday, Oct. 26. A Sunday-only pass is $100.

Fans must be at least 14-years-old and have appropriate attire in accordance with NASCAR-issued guidelines to enter the pit area. No shorts, skirts, sleeveless shirts or open-toed shoes are permitted in the pit area at anytime.

Pre-race pit passes are not good for gate admittance and must be accompanied by a grandstand ticket. Quantities are limited so fans are encouraged to reserve their pass in advance.
