HAMPTON, Ga. (November 14, 2008) - The Atlanta Chapter of Speedway Children's Charities is set to play host to Race to the Holidays, a holiday-themed family festival benefitting Speedway Children's Charities and the Metro South Association of Realtors Education Foundation. The event will take place on Saturday, Dec. 6th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Race to the Holidays will be held in the Nationwide Garage in the infield of Atlanta Motor Speedway. The family festival will feature crafts and games for children, photos with Santa, a secret Santa shop and more. An auction is also set to take place with a variety of holiday items up for bidding, including holiday baskets, wreaths, trees, travel packages and other elaborate holiday items. Entertainment and performances will be provided by local entertainers, bands and dance groups.

 Making a difference in a child's life is the focus of Speedway Children's Charities and the organization strives to do this in collaboration with the assistance of multiple non-profit organizations nationwide. Individually, SCC's local chapters identify the needs of children in their communities and award grants to organizations that address them.
