With the nation's best short-track Bandolero racers descending upon the "Thunder Ring" to compete on a national level, the 2009 Bandolero Nationals will feature two-days of grass-roots racing with the nation's best up-and-coming drivers.
The 2009 Bandolero Nationals at Atlanta Motor Speedway will feature upwards of 100 short-track racers competing on the "Thunder Ring." Friday, July 24 will serve as a practice date for the Bandolero Nationals feature racing on Saturday, July 25.
Grandstands will be closed for the 2009 Bandolero Nationals, but race fans can purchase infield passes to the National event for $25.
In addition to the 2009 Bandolero Nationals, fans and competitors attending on Friday, July 24 are invited to stay for Atlanta Motor Speedway's Friday Night Drags. Changing pace mid-day and swapping short-track racing for straight-line speed, fans and competitors attending the 2009 Bandolero Nationals will need to purchase a Friday Night Drags ticket to remain in the infield after 6:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24. General admission for Friday Night Drags is $7.
Atlanta Motor Speedway's campgrounds will be open to accommodate competitors and fans attending the 2009 Bandolero Nationals. Daily rates are $25 for traditional camping and $35 for full hook-ups.
