Six current NASCAR Sprint Cup Series drivers have been confirmed to participate in two Speedway Children's Charities events surrounding the Pep Boys Auto 500 weekend of night racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway on Labor Day weekend.

Six NASCAR stars - Kasey Kahne, Joey Logano, Juan Pablo Montoya, David Ragan, Elliott Sadler and Reed Sorenson - will participate in either the Reed Sorenson Charity Golf Tournament on Friday, Sept. 4 or the SCC Track Walk on Sunday, Sept. 6.

In addition to the NASCAR drivers, television personalities Bob Dillner, Larry McReynolds and Rutledge Wood will participate, as well as Robbie Loomis, Executive Director of Racing Operations for Richard Petty Motorsports, and Dr. James Dobson, founder and Chairman Emeritus of Focus on the Family.

The SCC Track Walk will give race fans the unique opportunity to walk on one of the fastest tracks in NASCAR with Logano, Ragan, Loomis and Dr. Dobson. The event begins at 11:00 a.m. and fans can pre-register online for $25 at through Aug. 28. Trackside registration will be available on Sat., Sept. 5 from 9:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. and on Sun., Sept 6 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. and costs $35.

The Reed Sorenson Charity Golf Tournament presented by will include NASCAR drivers Sorenson, Kahne, Montoya and Sadler and television's Dillner, McReynolds and Wood. Taking place at Eagle's Landing Country Club in Stockbridge, registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and will be followed by a shotgun start at 10:00 a.m. Entry for individual players starts at $250.00 and foursomes begin at $800.00.

A box lunch will be provided and a rewards reception, silent auction, dinner and entertainment will follow the conclusion of play.

Kruz-N 4 Kids - Saturday, Sept. 5 at 11:00 a.m.
Presented by Thunder Roads magazine and starting at Motorheads in McDonough, motorcycle enthusiasts can participate in a motorcycle ride benefitting Speedway Children's Charities and get admission to the Degree V12 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Atlanta Motor Speedway. The event costs $40 for one rider or $60 for two riders and includes admission to Nationwide and Sprint Cup practice, Nationwide and Sprint Cup Qualifying and the Degree V12 300.

SCC Live Memorabilia Auction - Sunday, Sept. 6 at 2:00 p.m.
Taking place in Bruton Smith Park at Atlanta Motor Speedway, the SCC Live Memorabilia Auction will give race fans the opportunity to bid on exclusive NASCAR gear. Auction items include driver helmets, sheet metal from cars and autographed driver gear, among other items.

Hot Laps on the High Banks - Monday, Sept. 7 at 8:00 a.m.
Race fans can drive their personal car on the same track used by NASCAR's stars a night earlier or take a pace car ride during Hot Laps on the High Banks. Fans can purchase three laps in their car for $30, take a pace car ride for $10 and take a photo in Victory Lane for $10. Fans can pre-register online at
