The schedule has been set for the 2013-2014 Winter Flurry series of Legends and Bandolero racing on the quarter-mile Thunder Ring at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

The Winter Flurry schedule has been expanded to include one additional race in the 2013-2014 season, increasing from seven races to eight races. Comprised of eight races with one on Friday and seven on Saturdays, Winter Flurry spans from Nov. 2013 through March 2014. Competitors will use their top seven race finishes throughout the season to determine their position in the point standings as they battle for the Winter Flurry championship.

The Winter Flurry racing series on the Atlanta Motor Speedway Thunder Ring is comprised of two Bandolero divisions and four Legends divisions. The two Bandolero divisions include Bandits, for drivers between the ages of 8 to 12, and Outlaws, for drivers 12 and older. The four Legends classes include Young Lions for drivers ages 12 to 15. The Semi-Pro division is for drivers over the age of 16 while Masters is for drivers over the age of 40. The Pro division is the expert class of Legends racing designed for experienced drivers.

A beginner Bandolero class will also be featured throughout Winter Flurry. Designed for new drivers with little experience, participants in beginner Bandits can be any age and will be moved into their respective class once they complete lap times comparable to those within their division.

The affordable, family-friendly winter racing series Winter Flurry affords spectators the opportunity to access the garage area with an infield spectator ticket for just $12 for adults, $5 for children ages six through 11 and is free for children ages five and younger. Driver registration for Winter Flurry is only $25 per race.
