Atlanta Motor Speedway has added two live radio broadcasts, a pair of show cars and the Coca-Cola racing simulator to the free Open House event scheduled for Saturday, March 12 from 11:00 a.m. through 3:00 pm.

Recently added entertainment at Atlanta Motor Speedway's free Open House event will include live broadcasts by WSB-AM 750 with Capt. Herb Emory and WJGA-FM 92.1 with Don Earnhart, the Coca-Cola racing simulator and Coca-Cola NASCAR show car, and a Jack Smith show car from the Georgia Racing Hall of Fame.

Smith, a Georgia resident who made his NASCAR debut in 1949, won 21 NASCAR races and posted 142 top-ten finishes in 264-career entries. Smith won NASCAR's Most Popular Driver Award in 1959 and was the first racer to ever drive on the Atlanta Motor Speedway when originally built in 1960.

Previously scheduled entertainment at the free Open House event includes short-track racing action and exclusive discounts, and the event will also feature:

- The opportunity to drive your own car on the Speedway's 1.54-mile track for fans putting $20 towards NASCAR tickets

- 50 percent off NASCAR pit passes

- Up to 25 percent off new 2011 NASCAR gear in the AMS Gift Shop

- FREE drawings for a large Big Green Egg smoker, WWE tickets, a Richard Petty Driving Experience Ride-Along and a $50 gift card to the AMS Gift Shop

- An autograph session with the Winter Flurry drivers

- A classic car show

- The opportunity to take photos with the Atlanta Motor Speedway pace car and the track's NASCAR Sprint Cup Series winner's trophy

- Tours of Atlanta Motor Speedway's race control tower and suites

- Children's activities

Patrons attending the Atlanta Motor Speedway Open House are asked to park at the Atlanta Motor Speedway Ticket Office where they can pick up their free admission ticket for the Open House event.
