Atlanta Motor Speedway invites fans to visit its display at Saturday’s NASCAR Preview 2012, Presented by Sprint, which is part of NASCAR Acceleration Weekend in Charlotte, NC. Fans visiting the display will have the opportunity to register for prizes, including tickets to the AdvoCare 500 weekend of NASCAR Night Racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Fans will also be able to obtain information about upcoming Atlanta Motor Speedway events.

The Preview will be held at the Charlotte Convention Center from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and will include autographs, on-stage Q&A sessions and interactive experiences for fans.

Saturday’s activities will also include two events at the NASCAR Hall of Fame. From 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 a.m., NASCAR legend Junior Johnson will serve breakfast to Hall of Fame guests, free with paid admission to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. From 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., NASCAR legends and new Hall Inductees will be stationed at their respective exhibits telling stories and visiting with fans

Friday’s activities, at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, comprise of storytelling with 2010 and 2011 NASCAR Hall of Fame Inductees in the Great Hall at 4 p.m. followed by the Red Carpet event from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. featuring past and current Hall of Fame Inductees, celebrities and NASCAR executives leading up to the 2012 Induction Ceremony. The Hall will welcome its third class – Darrell Waltrip, Cale Yarborough, Glen Wood, Dale Inman and Richie Evans (posthumously) – with enshrinement. 

On Sunday, fans will have the opportunity to mingle with the 2012 Hall of Fame class as they get their first glimpse of each inductee’s Hall of Fame cars and exhibits from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

Combo tickets for both events are $20 per person and free for kids 5 and under and include admission to the Preview and to the NASCAR Hall of Fame. NASCAR Preview tickets are $10, or $15 at the door.
