Atlanta Motor Speedway' quarter-mile "Thunder Ring" will once again feature the excitement of Legend and Bandolero racing with the return of the Winter Flurry series which begins Nov. 15.

Additional Winter Flurry races are scheduled for Dec. 13, Jan. 17, Jan. 31, March 21 and April 3.

The six-race series will give drivers in Legends and Bandolero cars the chance to compete for a championship trophy on one of the most challenging short tracks around and also presents the opportunity to build momentum prior to next summer's Thursday Thunder series.

Last year's Winter Flurry champions were Talking Rock's Chandler Smith in Bandits, Fayetteville's Ashton Winger in Outlaws, Woodrow Mullis in Young Lions, Taylor Jorgensen of Stockbridge in Semi-Pro, Macon's Don Chandler in Masters and Meansville's Madeline Crane in Pro. Of those drivers, two went on to win division championships last summer at Thursday Thunder as Smith and Mullis claimed titles in their respective divisions.

Infield admission is available for spectators wishing to watch Winter Flurry and passes may be purchased at the Security Command Building near the Speedway's main entrance.  Infield passes are $12 for adults, $5 for ages six through 11, and children ages five and younger are admitted for free.
