AMS Offering Discounted Tickets to Active Military & First Responders for 2015 NASCAR Weekend
In honor of current and former men and women in uniform, Atlanta Motor Speedway will again partner with GovX to offer discounted tickets for members of the military and first responders to events during the 2015 NASCAR weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway, scheduled for Feb. 27 to March 1.
GovX is an e-commerce portal for active, retired and guard members of the military, in addition to those associated with related government agencies.
GovX is partnering with Atlanta Motor Speedway for the second consecutive year to offer tickets for the NASCAR weekend at a discounted rate. Other events and professional sports teams that GovX has partnered with to provide their services include Charlotte Motor Speedway and the Atlanta Braves.
Discounted tickets for 2015 NASCAR weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway are available to military who are active, retired or have guard status, in addition to first responders at a rate of up to 25 percent off of the regular price.
Discounted tickets can be easily purchased by visiting www.atlantamotorspeedway.com/GovX and creating a free, online GovX ID.
Ticket discounts in three separate grandstands are available for the Sunday, March 1 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race. Seats in the Upper Petty Grandstand, regularly priced at $79, will be sold for $59. Seats in the Lower Earnhardt Grandstand, priced at $88, will be available for $59. Lower Champions Grandstand seats, regularly sold for $99, will be sold at the reduced rate of $75.
A $10 discount per seat is also available for the Feb. 28 NASCAR Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series doubleheader, with Upper Champions section seats available for $40 and general admission Front Stretch seats $30. Saturday event tickets will be valid for both races in the doubleheader.
A similar discount is also in place for Sprint Cup Qualifying on Feb. 27, with Front Stretch general admission tickets being sold for military and first responders for $15, a $5 discount off of the regular price.
Military and first responders can also enjoy all of the pre-race activities prior to the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series race at a reduced rate. Pre-race pit passes for Sunday, March 1 are available for $50, just half the regular price. Pre-race pit passes grant access to pit road up to an hour prior to the start of the race and also include close-in, stage-front access for pre-race activities. Pre-race pit passes will only be available through the Atlanta Motor Speedway ticket office by calling (877) 9-AMS-TIX.
