Bragging rights will again be on the line Friday at the final Fall Stampede event of the season at Atlanta Motor Speedway's O'Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags & Show-N-Shine.

This week's event will be the final O'Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags event of the year. It will mark the final chance for both racers and spectators to enjoy the excitement of street drag racing on the pit lane drag strip.

A multitude of drivers seized the opportunity to claim bragging rights in last week's fall stampede event with a total of four competitors claiming their first final round victory at Friday Night Drags.

McDonough's Ed Blanford won in a 1968 Ford F-100 in the truck division. In the sport compact division, Jalary Roges of Jonesboro won in a 1992 Honda Civic. Forest Park's Nicholas Strain seized the win in the diesel truck driving a Ford F-250 with the domestic advanced division also seeing a first-time winner with Heath Maddock's 1982 Chevrolet S-10.

Fall Stampede races follow the same format as O'Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags events with the only exception being that no points are earned by competitors during drag racing eliminations.
