Week 16 of Friday Night Drags and Show-N-Shine at Atlanta Motor Speedway was cancelled due to weather. Season points champions will be determined during the Fall Stampede of Atlanta Motor Speedway's Friday Night Drags and Show-N-Shine on Sept. 13 and Sept. 20.
Among the tight races that will carry over to the Fall Stampede include the pro class where Alan Kidd of Locust Grove in his 1969 Chevrolet Camaro and David Craft of McDonough in his 1986 Chevrolet Corvette are deadlocked with 24 points each.
Michael Ramsey of Canton in his 2010 Dragster trails Bobby Daniel in his 1999 Chevrolet Monte Carlo by one point in the super pro Class while Terry Bates of Locust Grove in his 1988 Ford Mustang is locked in a dead heat with Steven DeFayette of Sharpsburg in a 1988 Mazda RX7 as both drivers have 17 points.
The Show-N-Shine competition featured everything from new imports to classic muscle cars and automobiles ranging as far back as the 1930s. Those vehicles then took part in the Speedway Cruise following judging.
