The pavement-pounding and sound barrier rattling sensations of speed and power will take center stage this week at Atlanta Motor Speedway with an appearance by the Jersey Thunder Jet Car at both Thursday Thunder and Friday Night Drags and MCR Safety Show-N-Shine.
Powered by a jet engine, the jet car is capable of generating a speed of 225 mph on a one-eighth mile track and has a reputation for wowing crowds with its deafening noise and engine which propels 30 feet of flames in its wake.
The car can also travel the length of a football field in a single second and generates more horsepower than the first four rows in the AdvoCare 500 NASCAR Sprint Cup Series night race.
The car will make a run down Atlanta Motor Speedway's pit road before the first feature race at Thursday Thunder and on two separate occasions at Friday Night Drags.
