The new U.S. Legends Dirt Modifieds division will debut in Georgia as the series visits Woodstock's historic Dixie Speedway on Saturday, Nov. 19.

This new series of dirt racing features vehicles designed by former NASCAR Sprint Cup Series crew chief and team owner Ray Evernham. It will be only the second time that the series has ventured out of North Carolina.

With Legends and Bandoleros already having a strong asphalt presence in Georgia, including Atlanta Motor Speedway's own Thursday Thunder and Winter Flurry racing series, the Dirt Modifieds are a new affordable option for fans looking to get into dirt racing.

"The U.S. Legends program has been a proving ground for racers looking for affordable options to get into racing," said Atlanta Motor Speedway President and General Manager Ed Clark. "We've had our asphalt program in Georgia for 14 seasons of Thursday Thunder, and this new car is expanding that program into dirt racing. This will be a great way for young competitors or hobby racers to race affordably."

Gates will open at 5:00 p.m. and racing will begin at 7:30 p.m. Along with the Legends Dirt Modifieds race, Dixie Speedway will also feature a complete USCS Mini Outlaw Sprint Car show, plus features for Limited Late Models, Econo Bombers, Pony Stocks, and Crates Cruiser divisions. Adult tickets are just $10, while children ages nine to17 are $6 and children eight and under get in free.
