There’s a crisp in the air right now at Atlanta Motor Speedway, with the temperatures cooling off. But the on-track action heats up this weekend when Legends racers roll into town seeking a big prize in the Legends Nationals!

The right to be a national champion in a Legends car will be at stake, as drivers from across the country and even Canada will attack one of the toughest short tracks around, the quarter-mile “Thunder Ring” on the track’s frontstretch!

It will unquestionably be a sight to behold, and you won’t want to miss out on it.  We’ll have drivers coming from as far north as Massachusetts and as far west as Nevada. These drivers aren’t likely to be interested in riding home without a trophy, raising the stakes of victory even higher!

The great thing about Legends racing its balance of divisions. Up-coming drivers race in the Young Lions division with the more advanced drivers being in Semi-Pro. The most experienced drivers compete in the Pro division. And then there is the Masters division, with drivers over the age of 40 showing they can still get after it pretty good on the racetrack!

And who knows, you may see a future NASCAR star! Past Legends racers to race at the quarter-mile “Thunder Ring” include Joey Logano, David Ragan, Reed Sorenson, Ty Dillon and Austin Dillon.

You will get more than your fill of racing on Saturday, with gates opening at 2 p.m. Right away, action will get underway with preliminary races in all Legends car divisions, capped by Championship features to determine national champions!

Even better is that enjoying great racing and fun for all ages is very affordable! Saturday grandstand admission is $10 and free for kids 7 & under. Admission for practice on Friday is $5, but if you have Saturday tickets, admission is free!
