Adding an extra night of Labor Day weekend racing to commemorate the track's 50th Anniversary season, Atlanta Motor Speedway has announced details for the Sept. 3 Friday Fan Fest presented by Your Georgia Best Chevy Dealers.

The event will kick off the biggest Labor Day party in the USA, Atlanta Motor Speedway's Labor Day NASCAR night racing weekend. Friday night's action will include the Georgia Best Chevy Dealers 150 late-model race on the "Thunder Ring" quarter-mile track, a pre-race concert featuring Drivin' N Cryin', a question-and-answer session with NASCAR drivers and a late-model autograph session. The event will be free for fans displaying tickets to either Saturday or Sunday's NASCAR races and will cost only $10 for all others.

The Friday Fan Fest presented by Your Georgia Best Chevy Dealers will kick off with a 6:00 p.m. NASCAR question-and-answer session featuring Clint Bowyer, Jeff Burton and David Ragan, with other drivers to be added, and hosted by Rutledge Wood from SPEED. Fans will be invited onto the frontstretch to be stagefront for the event.

Immediately following the question-and-answer session, Georgia-based rockers Drivin' N' Cryin' will take to the stage for a concert at 6:45 p.m., while drivers from the Southern Superstars Short Track Series will be giving autographs and posing for photographs at their cars on the frontstretch.

Following the Drivin' N Cryin' concert, the Friday Fan Fest presented by Your Georgia Best Chevy Dealers will continue as the green flag waves for the Southern Superstars Short Track Series as they take to Atlanta's quarter-mile "Thunder Ring" for the Georgia Best Chevy Dealers 150. Green-flag action begins at approximately 8:45 p.m.

In addition to the concert, fans with advance-ticket purchases to Saturday or Sunday's NASCAR races will receive a free internet download of Drivin' N Cryin's latest studio album, "The Great American Bubble Factory."

Gates 13 will open at 5:30 p.m. for the Friday Fan Fest presented by Your Georgia Best Chevy Dealers. For more information, contact the Atlanta Motor Speedway Ticket Office at (770) 946-4211, (877) 9-AMS-TIX, or visit www.atlantamotorspeedway.com.
