Atlanta Motor Speedway's Thursday Thunder will not run on Thursday, July 15. The scheduled off week will accommodate drivers' travel plans for The Legends Million race at Atlanta's sister track, Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Atlanta Motor Speedway's Thursday Thunder will return on Thursday, July 22 for the annual Faster Pastor race, an intermission race featuring local church leaders competing in bomber stock cars. Tickets for the event cost just $5 for adults, $1 for children ages six through 11, and children ages five and under are admitted free of charge.
