Following last Friday night's rain-out of the drag racing portion of O'Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags and Show-N-Shine, Atlanta Motor Speedway will accept rain checks for grandstand admission tickets and drag-race wristbands, valid only for this Friday, July 7 or next Friday, July 14, per normal policy.

Grandstand spectators may bring their June 30 ticket stub to the Gate 15 entrance for admission, while drag-race competitors can also gain entry by presenting their paid wristband from last Friday night at the main infield tunnel.

This Friday night will feature Street Wars II, the second of three can't-miss nights in 2017 with handsome cash rewards and championships at stake.

The Street Wars series, new in 2017, features two adrenaline-pumping racing divisions that will pay money prizes to both its winners and finalists. A 28-inch big-tire division will pay $1,000 guaranteed to Friday night's winner, as well as a racer's pot, while the runner-up will take home $250. Semi-final losers will also each be awarded $50.

A hard-tire division will award $500 to its winner, with the runner-up and semi-final losers earning the same.

For drivers who either choose not to participate in the payout divisions or whose vehicles do not qualify to compete in them, Street Wars II will be the second of a three-night points series that will crown a 2017 Street Wars title in each racing division but is totally separate from the overall 2017 Friday Night Drags season points championship.

Spectator admission to the popular O'Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags and Show-N-Shine is just $10 per person, with kids ages 5 and under admitted free. Entry to drag race or for the Show-N-Shine and Speedway Cruise is just $20 per vehicle, or competitors can purchase a combo ticket for just $30.

Show-N-Shine and infield-parking wristbands from June 30 will not be valid for entry this week, as the Show-N-Shine and Speedway Cruise was completed in its entirety last week.
