For Georgia high performance enthusiasts, it's a match made in heaven.

Summit Racing Equipment, the world's largest direct marketer of automotive performance parts and accessories has partnered with Atlanta Motor Speedway for the first annual Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama, April 26-27.

Hosting car shows is nothing new for either Summit Racing or the Speedway. But the Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama promises to ratchet things up a few notches. Advertised as Georgia's premier motoring festival, the Atlanta Motorama will showcase a wide array of vehicles including high performance cars, street rods, classic cars, trucks and off-road vehicles, exotics, and motorcycles. You'll also see airplanes, boats, and military vehicles—practically anything with a motor can participate.

"We are very excited about the Atlanta Motorama and the partnership with Atlanta Motor Speedway," said Jim Greenleaf, Summit Racing Equipment Motorsports & Events Manager. "Summit Racing has hosted many car shows at our Retail Super Store in McDonough since it opened in 2006, and the Motorama is a great opportunity for us to step up and be part of a large regional event." "Both Summit Racing and the Atlanta Motor Speedway have great brand recognition, a commitment to customer service, and years of experience putting on motorsports events. Working together, I'm certain that the Atlanta Motorama will be a huge success," Greenleaf continued. "We are looking forward to a very exciting event and a long-term partnership with Atlanta Motor Speedway."

The Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama will feature two full days of high performance fun:

• Car show midway featuring some of the nation's best show vehicles

• Judged car show with awards in multiple categories

• Summit Racing Manufacturers Midway with more than 150 vendors and thousands of products

• Car-crushing exhibitions by Dan Runte and the Summit Racing/BIGFOOT monster truck • American Street Car Series Autocross sponsored by AARP—free with car show vehicle registration

• Speedway Salon featuring some of the most expensive cars in the country • Classic vehicle auction—one of the largest in the Southeastern U.S.

Summit Racing Equipment is also having a big sale on parts during the Atlanta Motorama. Customers can also pick up their parts at the Summit Racing Retail Super Store in McDonough.
