Summit Racing Equipment and Atlanta Motor Speedway today announced a five-year extension of Summit's title sponsorship of the popular automotive festival, the Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama, which takes place at the track each April. The agreement secures the exclusive title rights through the 2021 event.

The Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama, which debuted in 2014, has quickly become one of the largest automotive festivals of its kind in the Southeast. Growing in both size and scope in each successive year, the event celebrates anything with an engine and provides motor-centric attractions from extreme motorsports, to a massive manufacturers' midway, to award-winning classic, custom and show vehicles from across the nation.

"Summit Racing Equipment and Atlanta Motor Speedway have put together an incredible motorsports event over the past three years," said Jim Greenleaf, Summit Racing Equipment motorsports and events manager. "The Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama has something for every motorsports enthusiast and truly showcases everything Summit Racing Equipment has to offer. We look forward to being a part of the event for many years to come."

Summit Racing Equipment is the world's largest mail-order, internet and retail automotive performance equipment outlet, offering top-quality aftermarket hardware at affordable prices. Summit operates three retail locations, including one in McDonough, Georgia, just a short distance from AMS. As the title sponsor since the event's inception, Summit Racing Equipment has provided support for the event on many levels.

"This event could not have experienced the rapid growth we have seen without the many contributions Summit Racing Equipment has provided," said AMS president Ed Clark. "They are true partners in the success of the show, and Atlanta Motor Speedway and automotive enthusiasts across the nation have a lot to anticipate as we continue to work together to grow the event into one of the premier motoring festivals in America."

The 4th Annual Summit Racing Equipment Atlanta Motorama returns to Atlanta Motor Speedway April 22-23, 2017, and registration is already available. Participant entry is open to anything with an engine, ranging from classic cars, muscle cars, custom cars and imports, to rat rods, hot rods, trucks, big rigs, motorcycles and even boats and RVs.
