O'Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags

This Friday, May 9, will trumpet the return of the eighth full season of street-style drag racing on the pit-lane drag strip with the season opener for O'Reilly Auto Parts Friday Night Drags & Show-N-Shine. The great thing about Drags is that you have a chance to see a very different mix of vehicles compete. Sure, you'll see high-powered and souped up cars, but you'll also see trucks, street-legal cars, motorcycles and who knows what else! Spectator admission is $8 and free for kids 5 & under. Thursday Thunder

On Thursday nights this summer, fans can get a look at tomorrow's racing stars at Atlanta Motor Speedway's grassroots short track racing series, Thursday Thunder. This series has been the starting point for drivers who have advanced up the racing ladder to NASCAR'S top levels. A storied list of those drivers includes Joey Logano, Reed Sorenson and David Ragan and most recently Chase Elliott, Ty Dillon and Bubba Wallace.

Thursday Thunder not only offers exciting short track racing, but also provides grandstand entertainment and other fun activities for an extremely affordable price! Adult grandstand admission is just $6, ages 6-11 are $2 and ages 5 & under get in free. Labor Day Weekend NASCAR Night Racing Returns
