In NASCAR, drivers are required to have a yellow rookie-stripe on their bumper when they are new to a series. We want to make sure you don't look like a rookie when you are at Atlanta Motor Speedway—whether it's your first NASCAR race or just your first time visiting our track.

There isn't a bad seat in the house to catch all the high-octane action on the track during NASCAR race weekend! You'll be on the edge of your seat in anticipation as the cars whiz past you at over 195 mph!
Your comfort is our highest priority, and with some of the widest seats in all of sports at 21 inches, you'll be able to stretch out and enjoy the race.
You can enter Atlanta Motor Speedway at any of the main ticket booth gates and reach any grandstand seating section. The closest gates to each seating section are: Petty - Gates 1 & 15; Earnhardt - Gates 14 & 15; Champions - Gates 12, 13 & 14; Winners - Gates 11 & 12.
Atlanta Motor Speedway welcomes certified, leashed service animals in accordance to the ADA title II and III Law.
If you want cheap food and drink at the race, why not bring your own? As the only professional sport in Atlanta that allows you to bring a cooler to a sporting event, your food and beverage can be as cheap as you make it! Pack 'em, except for glass bottles, in a soft-sided cooler no larger than 14"x14"x14" and you are all set.
We know you have your soft-sided cooler packed to the brim with your favorite frosty beverage, but you're going to need something to snack on! Atlanta Motor Speedway has more than 20 concession stands located throughout the concourse. Atlanta Motor Speedway also serves Coca-Cola soft drinks at all of its concession locations.
Diaper Changing/Nursing Room:
Raceway Ministries is hosting a diaper changing/nursing room during the NASCAR race weekend in the Guest Services Booth underneath the grandstands.
Exclusive event weekend tee-shirts, merchandise and souvenir programs are available at souvenir stands near Gates 13, 14 and 15, on the concourse and on the infield. Select stands will have vintage items available in the closeout bin, while other stands will offer a limited number of items from a handful of drivers. Additionally, a wide-range of souvenirs, including driver-specific gear, will be available in the Fanatics tent outside the track, near the Fan Zone.
Wander the concourse and see the history of Atlanta Motor Speedway. Located in the Winner's Grandstands, the Winner's Wall highlights the victors of past races at AMS. Don't miss walking across the start/finish line that extends in a straight line from the real one on the track!

Seasoned NASCAR fans suggest first-time fans bring the following for Atlanta's weekend of NASCAR racing:
Comfortable Shoes for Walking
Sun Protection (sunscreen and sunglasses)
Proper clothing for weather conditions
Permanent Markers for Autographs
Cooler (must be 14x14x14 or smaller and may contain no glass objects.)
Portable Radio to Listen to the race broadcast by Performance Racing Network on 92.5 FM "The Bear"
No matter which way you are driving from, it's easy to get to Atlanta Motor Speedway! AMS is located approximately 30 miles south of downtown Atlanta, on Highways 19 and 41. The physical address is 1500 Highway 19 and 41 Hampton, Ga 30228. Fans traveling to the track south on Interstate 75 may exit at exits 235 and 218 while fans on Interstate 75 north can exit at exits 205, 212 and 218.
Contrary to those nightmarish reports you may have heard about race day traffic at AMS, there is some traffic, but it's nothing that leaving to get here early won't fix! Plus, the earlier you get here, the more time you'll have to tailgate and take in all of the fan activities!
With 887 acres of free parking, save your money for an event t-shirt or an extra hot dog!
Looking for the best way to get to the track straight from your hometown? Ride with other NASCAR fans on Rally, the official rideshare of Atlanta Motor Speedway. You're welcome to bring food and beverages on-board (just no glass). Best of all, there’s a bathroom on the bus, and you can keep your things locked on the bus while you’re at the race! Book your seat early for the best prices.

AMS offers shuttle and tram service around the facility, including the Infield. For assistance, please visit the white Fan Assistance tents.
Infield Tunnel access is located: between Turns 1 and 2; under Turn 3 and the Pedestrian Tunnel is located near Gate 15 (please note, Pedestrian Tunnel use requires a grandstand ticket).
Grandstand entrance portals are conveniently located underneath each grandstand at Atlanta Motor Speedway. Ushers are available to assist fans in finding their seat.
Please note traffic will be routed out of the Speedway the same way in which traffic entered the respective parking lot. For additional information, refer to the following entering/exiting information.
No matter what you are craving, we've got you covered with more than 20 concession locations in the grandstands as well as a trio of stands in the infield to keep you fueled up over race weekend. With more than 60 different options to choose from, you're sure to find something to quench your taste buds.
Enjoy a refreshing ice cold Coca-Cola, the official soft drink of Atlanta Motor Speedway, available in a 20-ounce bottle at concession locations throughout the concourse. All concession stands feature Coca-Cola beverages including Sprite, Diet Coke and Dasani Water. Or, sip on one of a dozen varieties of ice cold beer available throughout the concourse. Light, pilsner or stout, there is sure to be a variety for everyone's tastes.
Specialty concession stands are located throughout the grandstand concourse and provide national and regionally recognized chains serving up their signature items for you to enjoy at the race. Papa John's Pizza, the official pizza of Atlanta Motor Speedway, Sonny's BBQ, Bojangles Famous Chicken and Biscuits, The Australian Bakery and Kona Ice can be found at various locations throughout the concourse.
The infield concession locations feature standards sports fare including hot dogs, hamburgers, nachos, pretzels and popcorn. In addition, Papa John's Pizza is also available at the Coke Grill.
Have dietary restrictions or a unique brew you'd like to bring to the race? We've got you covered - or more specifically, you've got yourself covered. Atlanta Motor Speedway allows all fans to bring coolers into the race with them. Just pack it in, except for glass bottles, in a soft-sided cooler no larger than 14"x14"x14" and you are all set.

The Fan Zone:
The Atlanta Motor Speedway Fan Zone is the place to be before the race! There, you'll find vendors, displays and a whole lot of fun. It is located in front of Gate 13, between the Earnhardt and Champion's parking lots, just outside of the grandstands. Anchored by the Fan Stage, the Fan Zone offers activities and entertainment for all ages. You can easily access the Fan Zone by utilizing the FREE shuttle and exiting at Stop 1.
Folds of Honor QuikTrip Main Stage:
Don't miss the entertainment throughout the weekend on the Fan Stage. A full slate of weekend activities is highlighted by NASCAR Driver Question and Answer sessions on Saturday and Sunday. Plus, a full band, trivia and celebrity appearances make the fan stage the place to be before the race. Click here for a full schedule of main stage events.
Dedicated to the kids in attendance, the Bojangles' Kids Zone provides games and fun activities, including go-kart racing, geared towards kids before the race.
Driver Souvenir Stands:
Look out for the official driver souvenir stands! Stock up on official gear of your favorite driver! These stands will be located in the Fan Zone and underneath the grandstands!
Official AMS Souvenirs:
Your race weekend experience won't be complete without leaving the track with some fancy new AMS souvenirs! You can get event merchandise like tee shirts, hats and memorabilia to commemorate the race. Plus, you can get the official race souvenir program at any of the merchandise locations on the concourse, on the infield or at the souvenir trailers.
With more than 50 vendors in the Fan Zone, there is sure to be something to spark your interest. Plus, visit the Chevrolet display to see the see the latest 2018 vehicles and participate in the Chevrolet driver Q&As scheduled throughout the weekend.
Driver Autograph Opportunities:
Check each driver's website, social media channels, local newspapers and television for driver appearances/autograph sessions taking place around Atlanta prior to the race. Please keep in mind that on race day, drivers, like all athletes, are concentrating on the task ahead and are rarely available.
Listen in first-hand to the communications between drivers and crew chiefs by renting a scanner and headphones or a FanVision device! They are available for rent at Atlanta Motor Speedway souvenir haulers at Gates 1, 12, 13,14 and 15.
