Regardless of who wins the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500, the winning driver will earn a place in history as the final race winner on Atlanta Motor Speedway's current racing surface.

But for a group of drivers, a win could also mark his first Atlanta victory after coming close in recent years. Here's a look at five drivers to watch who have yet to win at AMS.

Joey Logano: Since arriving at Team Penske, his career has hit an upward climb. Logano has contended for championships and won on multiple types of tracks. He'll hope to add Atlanta to his list of wins in 2017. Logano has been strong the past four races here, winning a pole position and finishing twice within the top-five.

Brad Keselowski: The "Blue Deuce" visited Victory Lane in back-to-back seasons in 2009 and 2010 with Kurt Busch behind the wheel but has not been back since. Keselowski will look to end that drought. Keselowski has been feast or famine in the last six Atlanta races, failing to finish twice but placing in the top ten four times.

Chase Elliott: After coming close to a win a number of times in 2016, few wins in NASCAR would be more popular than for Elliott to win in front of his home-state fans. Elliott's top-five finish here last year was the first of his career. That, combined with Hendrick Motorsports power under the hood make Elliott a driver to watch when NASCAR returns to Atlanta.

Martin Truex Jr.: After failing to win the championship despite the best overall season of his career last year, Truex will be eager to prove that the No. 78 team is again up for contending for a title at the Folds of Honor QuikTrip 500. Truex has finished seventh or better in four of the past five Atlanta races.

Kyle Larson: For a driver with an earned reputation of being able to manhandle a loose racecar, few tracks align more with a driver's style than Kyle Larson. Atlanta could very well be a big next step for Larson a year after his first win and qualifying for The Chase.
