Because of the volume of media credential requests we receive for each race, not all credentialed media can be accommodated in the main media center area. For those given media overflow access, the media overflow room is located behind the souvenir and concession stand to the west of the media center (next to NASCAR sign-in). Operating hours are the same as the media center.
Media members are encouraged to attend all press conferences in the press conference room of the media center, located on the backstretch side of the media center. All cell phones are to be turned off during press conferences. A schedule of press conferences is available on the screen behind the media center counter.
No one is allowed on the roof of the media center at any time during race weekend. If you need to access the roof to hook up phone lines for a radio remote, you must do this before race weekend. This policy will be strictly enforced.
Televisions will provide a live feed from the track, live timing and scoring and announcements for the media. Televisions are to remain on assigned channels at all times.
